(i know. creative title.)
Julie sat behind the counter in the music store, spinning on the spinny stool slightly and looking very bored. It was only her and the manager in then, and no one had come in to even look at anything for an hour. She sighed, looking eagerly at the guitars sitting on their racks. She really wanted to play, just to have something to do. But no. 'You can't play the merchandise, Julie. You could break it or something,' the manager had said to her. She sighed again.

"Hey Julie... did we get the new shipment of amps in yet?"
Taylor had driven directly from school to get here and work the weekend, ans he was looking forward to it, working the Music store was a lot more fun that working at the Cafe, even if it didn't pay quite as much...
He walked up and gave a half smile as he saw her looking at the guitars, with a bored look...
"You know Lou is just messing with you right?"
He walked over and picked up a Fender Delux Teleacaster and pluged it into an old Crate tube amp and turned it on, then after letting it warm up he layed into soft jazz piece...

"Hello, no, I don't think so...I'd be doing something with them if they had come." Julie replied, her boredum showing in her voice. "Are you kidding me?! Ugh!!" she said, blushing a little at how gullible she was. She walked over and picked up a random guitar and plugged it in, then listened to Taylor as he played his piece. His style was so much different from hers, it was nearly the opposite. After a bit, she stuck her tongue out a little and took a stab at accompanying him, playing slowly and nearly as soft as him. (LOL ur probably gonna think i'm totally stupid and retarded for doing this, but i really don't know much about guitars or playing.... i just always found it fascinating, so i decided to make a character who could play )

(((;D oh that's fine, I'm really a musician but that's kewl...)))
Taylor slowed down a bit as Julie started to play with him... He liked her style even if it was nothing like his own... She had a very precise clear form, and a clean simple sound...
Taylor however was more rough and loose, bordering on pure energy...
He laughed when she stuck her tounge out at him; "What did I do now?"

Julie giggled. "Nothing, I do that went I concentrate," Julie replied, smiling and stopping her playing. "I've actually been trying to stop."

Taylor nodded slightly as he ended the song with a light shimmering chord...
"Oh, okay... So how's it been today? Busy or what?"
The store was empty at this point, but that could change at any time... maybe...

"Its been horribly not busy." Julie replied with a sigh, unplugging the guitar and replacing it to the rack. "Obviously this is not the day for shopping." she added, returning to her spot behind the counter.

Taylor laughed slightly, Julie had a cute way of talking... He walked behind the main counter, and started giving the racks of guitar strings a once over; "Yeah, it's a Friday alright... Dollars-to-Dounuts we get nothing the rest of the day... But tomorrow? we'll be swamped...?"

"Of course, and we...actually I, you could be where ever you want, get to miss all the fun and partying and not being bored." Julie said, since she had Friday as her usual work night. She had just taken it back when she didn't have much of a social life and was severely in need of a job. "Its probably like that everywhere." "I should just ask if there's some newbie who can take my place Fridays, I've been here for a while and Friday is so horrible to work...."

Taylor nodded, then laughed; "Well to be honest, Lou just hired a new guy and needs to train him some, so you may get this next Friday off... Then we can party or something..." Oh dang, that almost sounded like a come on...
"So like, I'm gonna go grab some more number ten bass strings from the back, hold the fort till return!" With a smirk and nod Taylor went to the back storage room to get some more strings...
